All Quiet in the Womb

Rach now and then thinks she feels Logan kick. I put my face to her belly and tell him to do it again, but he never listens. What a tease, this kid. Shouldn't he be kicking more by now? We play music for him, I read some Shel Silverstein to him (I, I mean he loves "Ickle Me, Pickle Me, Tickle Me Too"), but all is quiet in the womb. We want some action!

19-week old babies do not kick--they hum.Probably some old Beatle tune like "Hey Jude". If your quiet and listen carefully "Hey Jude, don't let me down..."

On the other hand he could be non-violent.

I think in a few weeks you'll get more action...Especially if you keep reading Shel...I was always a fan of Cynthia Stout...Believe me, you should take this time to enjoy his sleepiness! Because once he's here he'll be plenty active! What you should be singing is "J-E-T-S! JETS JETS JETS!"

GrammaOC says: the only movement right now is indigestion and gas. Wait until after 6 months, the action should pick up. Should we look for a mini-Jets outfit?? Love you, MOM

Well, I know I felt some "fluttering" really early, but no major kicks until about 20 weeks or so, then the kid was a maniac! He woke me up in the middle of the night, and he still has crazy legs. You'll feel the little bugger soon.
I love this page, have it bookmarked and check it all the time. It's nice to see your face...and baby belly!
